Sample as Promised in Satin Ribbon Post

I have uploaded a sample I did with the tie-off technique into the Samples Album.  It's called "Cutie Pie Pocket Card."

Satin Ribbon

I've been playing with the 15/16" Satin Ribbon featured on page 22 of the Holiday Mini Collection.  Oh. My. Gosh!  It is so lush and lux!! It's almost an inch wide and is silky smooth and makes a fabulous bow - even for the severely bow-challenged like me!  A very cool tip for working with wide ribbon that I learned at Convention is to wrap a strip of ribbon around whatever you're wanting to wrap, then tie the two ends tight with Linen Thread.  You can trim the ends or not, as you like.  The tag on page 11 of the Holiday Mini Collection gives you the idea.  I'll upload a sample in a few days.

Kitchen Remodel Update1

My house is in the middle of a construction zone!  The new lighting in the kitchen is in, which adds more light over the breakfast table.  This will be great for my classes!  I've posted before and during pictures in the "Remodel" folder.

Kitchen Remodel Starting

I've had to cancel the events I had scheduled in my home because of the kitchen being remodeled.  I am still doing in-home parties and workshops for you hosts/hostesses while this is going on, however.
I'll be keeping you updated on the status so you'll be able to see my new schedule the minute I've got it set. I'll even do pictures!
