News from Convention

Today was my first day of Convention 2008 in Salt Lake City, Utah.  The weather is hot, but the new stamps and accessories are way cool!
Here I am going through the new catalog and marking my "need to have"s.

There is a very exciting special coming up August 11th - selected new stamp sets at 15% off! Plus, new colors and images in Decor Elements and other fun things they haven't told us about!

I hope you can make it to my Open House on August 10th from 2 to 5pm.  If you can't make it, contact me to reserve your copy of the new catalog. If you are able to come, you'll have a fun project to make as well as a fabulous new catalog to browse!

Last Chance for Retiring Accessories

Some of your favorite accessories are on sale now, while supplies last.  Click here to see the downloadable list. Empty punch boxes are now available as well - these are a great size for keepsake boxes that can hold larger items.

Retiring Accessories

The list of retiring accessories will be announced Monday, the 21st.  The accessories will only be available while supplies last.  Two of the current In Color series double-stitched grosgrain ribbon colors have already sold out: Purely Pomegranate and Blue Bayou.  There is still time to get Groovy Guava, River Rock, Soft Sky and Wild Wasabi.
Also retiring are the Aged Copper, Antique Brass and Pewter Hodgepodge Hardware sets.  These are on special at 25% off while supplies last.
If you need to re-check the retiring stamp sets lists - click here or on the "Specials" link to the left.  The lists are at the bottom of the page and are either alphabetical by set title or numerical by page number of the 2008 Spring/Summer Collection.  These will be available through August 10th.

Mosaic Magic Designs

These are the projects we'll be making Saturday, July 12th, between 8:30 and 10:30am or Wednesday, July 16th, between 7:00 and 9:00pm.  The class is $10 for both projects and includes envelopes.  There is still time to reserve a place at either session, so give me a call or send me an e-mail!

Practical Air Brushing

Do you get overly enthusiastic with your embossing powder and/or glitter like I do?  I dust up my glasses regularly with these and other things, and it's most noticeable right after I've cleaned my glasses!  Photographers often use a soft brush with a little bellows-type device attached to clean their lenses.  So, I tried using my Color Spritzer Tool (without the marker) instead.  It works really well to move the dust off without scratching the lens.
