Fun with Scallop Circles

This was my stampers' holiday party project using the BigShot die cut machine and the Big Felt Flurries.  It's very quick to make:

I used a 5" x 11" piece of Baja Breeze card stock and folded it in half.  I ran the folded piece through the BigShot using the large Scallop Circle die and keeping the fold inside a few of the scallops.  I cut smaller scallops from Riding Hood Red Patterns Designer Series Paper with Scallop Circles #2 and used both the 1-3/8" and 1-1/4" circle punches for the snowman greeting layer.  I stamped the snowman image from Deer Friends with Riding Hood Red ink, then punched it out with the 1-1/4" circle punch.  The scraps from the large scallop circle card easily fit the 1-3/8" circle punch to make a layer. A stab through all the layers with the piercing tool from the Crafter's Tool Kit made a nice hole for the legs of the brad to go through and I hammered the legs apart to flatten them.

This technique can work for other shapes as well.  Try it and let me know how it comes out.  You can send me a picture or scan and I'll be glad to post it here.
The bottom scallop layer is adhered with SNAIL, but the felt snowflake and the remaining layers are secured with the Square Rhinestone Brad that adorns the snowman's hat.
