Today is the late Jim Henson's birthday. I grew up with his creations, since we both lived in the Washington, D.C. area of Maryland and much of his early work was for local television stations and companies.
One of his first Muppets (tm), who is perhaps his best-loved, is Kermit the Frog. Kermit is also one of my favorites, long before Sesame Street (tm)! I recreated Kermit's image in punches:

- 108362 Crop-A-Dile

Tips:
- I trimmed a sliver off the 1" Whisper White circles to give the eyes a more mashed ping-pong ball look.
- The pupils are composed of 2 Horizontal Slots and a 1/4" circle, adhered together with the Glue Pen. The 2-Way Glue Pen is great for adhering tiny pieces into place!
- I trimmed away two arms of the stars to make a long arrowhead and used 3 of them for the collar.
- The Hodgpodge Hardware greeting is attached by threading the Always Artichoke ribbon through the holes of the oval frame, wrapping the ribbon around the card front and fastening the ends to the ribbon with the matching brads. I secured one side first, then wrapped the ribbon around the card, tightened it to fit, then slipped the whole thing off to secure the other side with the brad. This made a belly band, which I slipped back into place and fastened with Mini Glue Dots underneath the brads and under the ribbon on the inside of the card.
