This gift box is 2" x 3-3/4" and can hold tiny treats or a couple of gift cards (slant diagonally to fit). Make it out of a Thick Window Sheet (#114324) to keep them from getting battered in purse or briefcase, and it also holds business cards!

A 5-1/2" x 12" strip of card stock works well with the Box #2 Bigz XL Die. It will give you a small margin on each side. I usually do 6" x 12" because it leaves larger scraps for die cutting a tag or something.
I stamped the box after it was cut so the scraps didn't get embossed. The darker colors of card stock really show off the tone-on-tone effect created by embossing with Clear powder on VersaMark ink.
The piercing tool came in handy for both the holes in the ornament tags and to punch a small hole in the center of the box lid. I double-pierced the box top to have enough room for 3 strands of cord. The Real Red oval punch-out hides the cord ends on the inside of the box. I used a Stampin' Dimensional to attach the ribbon to the outside of the box lid, then colored the edges of the dimensional with the Real Red marker.
