Polynesian Village Tile Floor - visit http://www.3amstamper.com

I’ve been keeping my eyes open for something different this trip and found this soft & subtle tike pattern covering a bathroom floor.  It immediately reminded me of making a paper version.  I’ve cut scraps like that!

If you want to replicate this, sponge Mint Macaron, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla Card Stock with the Sahara Sand Classic Stampin’ PadThen cut all three colors of card stock into random pieces.

Coat a layer of Sahara Sand Card Stock the size you want with Fast Fuse AdhesiveDon’t leave any gaps!  Place your card stock pieces in a random pattern, leaving at least 1/8” space between each one.  You can make the spaces different sizes, too.  Let the scraps over hang the layer, you can trim them later.

Mix Black Embossing Powder with a little bit of Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder, then sprinkle all over the exposed Fast Fuse.  Tap off the excess and save it in a separate container for another project if you like.  Melt the powder with the Heat Tool and you’re all set!  Trim off the overhanging Card Stock and attach your background to your project.

Did you know you can also qualify for Stampin’ Rewards from Stampin’ Up!® if your order product total exceeds $150.  Also remember that you may select a free Sale-A-Bration item with every $50 you order through March 31st.  Just click on the Order Online Button in the right sidebar or on any of the product links in this article to order what you need to make your own Subtle Tile Background.
