A Tip on Photopolymer Stamp Storage
Do you wrestle with separating the acetate sheets in your photopolymer stamp sets so you can get the image you want? Me, too. That’s why I jumped on this tip from a colleague of mine!
It’s easy to store your photopolymer stamps in their case and still eliminate the wrestling. Here’s all you do:
- Remove the stamps from the printed backing sheet. You can put them on the separator sheet until you’re ready for them.
- Adhere the printed sheet face out to the back side of the stamp set case so you can read and see the images as they’ll appear. Place the printed sheet in between the case back and the slipcover, but adhere the sheet to the case.
- Attach the images over the printing on the inside case back.
- Cover with the separator sheet to keep them from sticking to each other if they happen to fall off.
If your stamp set has two sheets, adhere the other to the front of the set case. Remove the printed cover before you attach. Repeat steps 3 & 4. Be sure to cover both sides with the separator sheets.
