As a Stampin’ Up!® Independent Demonstrator, you own your own home-based stamping business and you can take it with you if you have to move across town, across the state, or even across country! It’s just not a problem! If you’re a United States Demonstrator, you may recruit and sell anywhere within the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and the US territories (American Samoa, Federated States of Micronesia, Guam, Mariana Islands, Palau, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands). This also applies to your customers living abroad if they can provide an APO/FPO address. If they live abroad without having an APO/FPO address, they can only be recruited and sold to by Demonstrators of the country in which they reside.
With today’s technology, you can easily keep in touch with your customers and downline in your old neighborhood by phone, e-mail, text or Facebook private groups. You can even hold stamping parties online through services like Google Hangouts.
A good way to get to know your new neighbors is to hold a free class every month or six weeks or so (however it fits into your schedule). You design a very simple card and pass out flyers to your neighbors with the date, time and the fact that the class is free. This lets your new neighborhood know about your business and gives you all a chance to get acquainted.
