Calypso Coral Thank You Card

Calypso Coral, from the Red-Orange Color Group, makes a Quick & Easy Thank You Card in this Complementary Color Scheme. The Complementary Color is Mint Macaron, from the GreenBlue Color Group.

I got to use leftover scraps of Botanical Gardens Designer Series Paper from my Trendy 2016 Occasions  Cards Class. Fortunately, the reverse of the pattern is Mint Macaron. I am ignoring the tiny Hello Honey dots in the centers of the flowers. We’ll pretend it’s a pale Calypso Coral. Besides, the total amount of Hello Honey is insignificant and doesn’t interfere with the Complementary Scheme.

The Thank You card lies flat and is perfect for mailing – it will only use a one-ounce stamp. There aren’t any significant bumps because the White Perfect Accents are only slightly raised.

This color combination is good for a lot of different occasions: Birthday, Thank You, Hello, Friendship, Anniversary, Celebration. I wouldn’t use it for Sympathy, but I certainly would for Get Well Soon and Cheer Up. For Sympathy, I would substitute or add the Orange-Red Shade, Cajun Craze, for Calypso Coral, which is less exuberant. You can read about Cajun Craze in my Real Life Color Coach Article. The Calypso Coral/Mint Macaron combination also makes great scrapbook pages, especially with a Spring/Summer theme.
