Fine Tip Glue Pen Open - Visit

I love the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (138309) for its versatility AND that it lays down a fine line of glue!  But I have a caution for you.  I discussed the Fine-Tip Glue Pen previously, with a warning about removing the seal before you try to glue.  Today, I have another caution to help you keep your Glue Pen flowing freely!

Some people have said that you can seal the tip by just closing the black nozzle cover and leaving the white cap in place.  I have not found this to be true.

The white cap holds the pin that seals the tip and keeps the fine nozzle from clogging.  This also keeps the glue from drying out.  You have to align the tip with the pin manually.  The black nozzle cover assembly does not line up the two.  Any glue left in the Glue Pen tip will dry and you will have to use the pin to reopen it.
