Go Wild and Daffodil Delight
Another entry in my Real Life Color Coach Neutrals Gallery also features the Go Wild Designer Series Paper Stack with Daffodil Delight as part of a Monochromatic Color Scheme. The wild animal in this design is a wedge of cheese! Giggle Greetings, with the cheese wedge image, is a retiring stamp set, so I’m showing it off today.
As you may recall, the Go Wild Designer Series Paper Stack is also retiring. The patterns are reminiscent of jungle animals, but are only composed of Basic Black, Tip Top Taupe and Whisper White. In this pattern, Tip Top Taupe is the main color in a giraffe-skin design. I needed a little more contrast between the image and the background, so I matted the cheese wedge with Soft Suede Card Stock. Soft Suede and Tip Top Taupe coordinate well, although you can use Chocolate Chip instead for a deeper contrast.
I accented the image with the retiring Hello Honey Marker and the Wink of Stella Gold Glitter Brush. The main part of the cheese wedge is colored with the Daffodil Delight Marker. To finish embellishing, I wrapped the retiring Daffodil Delight 1/4” Cotton Ribbon around the layer and tied it in a bow. I needed to secure it with Glue Dots under the bow’s knot. The coordinating envelope is lined with a piece of the matching pattern die-cut with the largest Envelope Liners Framelits™ Die, which is also retiring. I will miss these liner dies, I just don’t think you’ll get a good effect with the Envelope Punch Board. I can foresee a lot of wasted paper using it for envelope liners, unless you line the whole envelope. But who wants that much weight?
