Happy Valentine’s Day 2017!
I made you a Happy Valentine’s Day card for 2017! This was inspired by my grandson as I mentioned in my article, “A Different Valentine.” He needed a Pink Valentine for another special girl, so I made him one in the same design with different colors. He wanted room to write, as I said before. I, however, changed the design to add a greeting.
I wanted to use Flirty Flamingo from the Red-Orange/Orange-Red Color Group and selected the companions Watermelon Wonder and Blushing Bride to create a Monochromatic Color Scheme. I stamped the Blushing Bride Card Stock with both Flirty Flamingo and Watermelon Wonder Classic Stampin’ Pads to get different degrees of contrast. I used the Flirty Flamingo Pad to stamp the Very Vanilla Envelope. The wild roses are stamped with the Watermelon Wonder Pad on Watermelon Wonder and Flirty Flamingo Card Stock and the Flirty Flamingo Pad on the Blushing Bride Card Stock.
This color combination is good for Birthdays, Thinking of You and any other Occasion or recipient that adores Pink, as well as Valentine’s Day.
