Real Life Color Coach Color of the Week: Pacific Point
Pacific Point is the Hue of the Blue Color Group and begins my “Blue Period” of Real Life Color Coach posts. I tried to mix up the colors so there would be a variety… but I think the Holidays got me off schedule. Making sure I did more Reds and Greens didn’t leave enough room for Blues.
So now we get to work with Blue. Today’s Monochromatic Color Scheme features Pacific Point, Whisper White and Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper, which is an iridescent white. I wanted to do something light and airy but not pastel, so the glittering paper and embossing powder do the trick.
Pacific Point would make a great Monochromatic Color Scheme with Blacks and Grays, as well as White, and its fellow Blue Color Group member, the Shade, Night of Navy. I don’t like Pacific Point paired with any of the Browns, because I feel those colors dim the intensity of the Hue. To work best, Pacific Point would need some other color to act as a buffer and enhance its intensity.
This combination would be perfect for anyone whose favorite color is Blue. I’ve shown a casual note card, but you could use it for Birthday, Get Well, Thank You, Friendship or Sympathy. This would be great for scrapbook pages with lots of photos, too.
